Epilim Chronosphere 1000mg modified release temporarily out of stock

Sanofi has informed us that Epilim Chronosphere 1000mg Modified Release is temporarily out of stock in the UK.

The pharmaceutical company expects the medication to be back in stock in mid-August.  In the meantime, other preparations of valproate are available.

People who are prescribed this medication should be aware that they may have to have their dosage made up in 750mg and 250mg doses or through 2x500mg doses .

Any pharmacist with a concern about their supply levels should contact Sanofi’s Customer Services team ( 0845 023 0441) who will be able to assist and help resolve the issue.
