Learn about the causes of epilepsy, how epilepsy is diagnosed, seizure triggers, first aid for different types of seizures, how to manage risks, psychosocial issues, and how to administer emergency medication. Our training courses are available to anyone looking to develop their understanding of epilepsy for professional or personal reasons.

Courses run by qualified nurses and experienced trainers

Our courses, aimed at those who care for adults with epilepsy, are informative and packed with well researched content and include clips of real seizures. Delegates include health and social care staff and commercial organisations. We also work with the public sector, including health bodies and local councils.

Training for organisations and individuals

For organisations
We offer the following courses face-to-face, or online via Microsoft Teams, 
•    Epilepsy awareness and seizure management – half day course (for 12 delegates maximum)
•    Epilepsy awareness, seizure management and emergency medication – full day course (for 10 delegates maximum)

For individuals
To sign-up for one of our online courses, for anyone who wants to know more about epilepsy, how to manage seizures or how to administer emergency medication, select a date below.

Online course dates - book your place

Joining instructions and a link to download a delegate pack are included in the payment acknowledgement email.

All delegates receive a certificate of attendance. We recommend that this training takes place every two years.
