Be a voice for people with epilepsy

Could you help us shape the future of the care we provide at the Epilepsy Society? We are looking for a volunteer who could join us for a small, friendly online workshop, no more than once a fortnight on a Friday afternoon.

We would like to hear from anyone who has a lived experience of epilepsy and, ideally, an understanding of health and social care.

This is an exciting opportunity to be the voice of people with epilepsy as we design our care services for the future, meeting the needs of both people with complex epilepsy and associated disabilities at our Chalfont Centre, and those who are able to live in the community with support.

People are at the heart of everything we do at the Epilepsy Society and we are very keen to involve people with epilepsy at the planning stage of our integrated care.

How to apply

If you would like to apply for this important volunteer role, please email working.group@epilepsysociety.org.uk and tell us in no more than 300 words why you would like to be considered. Closing date: 21 April 2023.

We look forward to hearing from you.
