National Epilepsy Week 2023 - #epilepsymatters

National Epilepsy Week runs from 22-28 May 2023 and this year we are pleased to announce that the theme for the week is #epilepsymatters

Purple infographic asks the question - what matters most to you about epilepsy

The Epilepsy Society is working with our friends at other epilepsy charities across the UK and Ireland to raise awareness of epilepsy under this umbrella theme. And we would like to find out what matters most to you about your epilepsy or the epilepsy of someone close to you.

For example, it could be better public understanding of the condition, more research into diagnosis and treatment, more support in the workplace, better seizure control, easier access to your GP.

But these are just suggestions. We really want to know what matters most to you.

Tell us what matters most to you

Please let us know what matters to you via our social media channels /epilepsysociety, tagging us and using the hashtag #epilepsymatters Alternatively, you can email us at press.office@epilepsysociety.org.uk

Please include a photograph of yourself that you would be happy to share across our channels and in our magazine Epilepsy Review*.

We will not be able to share everyone’s photos and suggestions, but all submissions will help to inform our work going forward.

* By submitting a photograph and #epilepsymatters suggestion, we will assume that you have consented to us sharing these via our social media channels and in our magazine, Epilepsy Review.

LET'S STAY IN TOUCH...
