How will I cope?
Edinburgh Marathon is a fast and flat course, voted the fastest marathon in the UK. This makes Edinburgh Marathon the perfect event for a first marathon runners and runners looking to achieve a new personal best. With the passion and motivation to make a difference behind every stride, we know you can do it (and we are so excited to see what you can achieve)!
How much do I need to raise?
The minimum sponsorship target for charity place runners if £500 and we'll do all we can to help you achieve that target. We'll provide you with bags of ideas, tips and materials to help you with your fundraising and be there at the end of the phone when you want to talk anything through. Please note, the sponsorship target and registration fee does not apply to own place runners but every penny you raise will help us to continue our work for people with epilepsy.

The Brighton Marathon route provides panoramic views of the English Channel and South Downs.
Join Team Purple and run through four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens as well as past iconic sites such as Buckingham Palace and the Royal Albert Hall.
