Russell House

At Russell House we are dedicated to empowering residents and enabling them to do as much as they can, and make as many decisions for themselves, as possible.

People we support range in age from their early 20s to late 60s and all get along well socially. We promote choice in every aspect of the residents’ lives e.g. choosing what they would like to eat on a daily basis. This may involve using visual aids for those whose communication skills are challenged.

We also support them to decide what sort of activities they take part in. Social interaction is a very important part of life at Russell House and people we support really enjoy trips to the cinema, bowling, swimming, holidays, and visits to local parks.

There is also a lot going on at the Chalfont Centre for people we support, with social events with other houses on-site and the coffee shop to visit.

We also put a lot of emphasis on education and improving on life skills to encourage independence and continue the education pathway which empowers people to make better decisions in their lives. We currently have a number of people we support attending college courses, and we also collaborate with the Bucks Adult Learning, teaching a variety of different skills including healthy eating and canvas art.

We have a very motivated staff team with a young and energetic outlook, and this really helps us to meet the needs of the people we support.

Micholls House

Micholls House is all about individualised care and empowerment. Residents are encouraged to be involved in all decisions about their lives - what they choose to eat each day, what they wear, what activities they take part in, what trips they go on and whether they choose to use our on-site health services or their own.

Queen Elizabeth House

Our specialist nursing care for adults with epilepsy is provided in Queen Elizabeth House at our Chalfont Centre in Buckinghamshire. In addition to their epilepsy, residents often have associated and additional complications, including physical and learning disabilities, brain injury and autism.

Steps

Our supported living service is available to adults with epilepsy who may also have other associated or additional complications. The service provides people with the opportunity to live with greater autonomy and independence in the community.

LET'S STAY IN TOUCH...
