Purple Day 2025: Tell us how epilepsy affects your life

We are starting to prepare for Purple Day and need your help! This year our theme is ‘Stand up to seizures’ and we are going to be talking to local, regional and national radio and tv broadcasters to raise awareness about epilepsy on 26 March. So we need you! (Please some note, interviews may be pre-recorded in the week before Purple Day.)

We want to hear about how epilepsy impacts your life, what the challenges are but also, whether your seizures are affected by unusually hot summers. With some of the heatwaves we have experienced in recent years, has the changing temperature affected your epilepsy? Have you experienced more seizures? Has the hot weather has been a trigger, either through the increased heat or not being able to sleep as well?

IMPORTANT: On receipt of your completed form, we will keep your details on file and will be in touch if we are able to use your story. Please be assured that we would never pass on your details to the media without contacting you first. Any questions of concerns please feel free to contact the press office on 01494 601417.

PLEASE COMPLETE THIS FORM ONLY IF YOU ARE HAPPY TO BE CONTACTED AND INTERVIEWED BY MEMBERS OF THE PRESS.
