Our Helpline will now be open at the weekend and longer during the week

Thanks to the generous donations of our beneficiaries, we are pleased to announce that we will be extending our Helpline opening hours from 3 April 2023.

The new opening hours are below:

Monday 9am-7.30pm

Tuesday 9am-4pm

Wednesday 9am-7.30pm

Thursday 9am-4pm

Friday 9am-4pm

Saturday 9am-12.30pm

Helpline manager, Andree Mayne said: “We are thrilled to be able to extend our Helpline service, giving people greater flexibility about when they contact us. We know that for some people weekdays can be difficult, so we are excited to be able to also open on a Saturday morning as well as offering an additional evening during the week.”

In a recent survey, we asked 1,000 people what matters most to them about epilepsy. Almost a quarter of respondees told us they would like to see the Helpline open in the evenings and one in five said they would like it to be open at weekends.

From 11 April 2023, we will also be introducing a pilot web chat service to increase the different ways people affected by epilepsy can speak to our Helpline.
