Greene House

Greene House is a care home for up to 14 adults. The staff provide personal and social care in person centered way. Our aim: To make residents feel valued and respected and where dreams are realised in a happy and friendly atmosphere were people know it’s their home.

Activities for residents

Residents in Greene have access to all central events, outings and activities:

  • Sensory room
  • Outings
  • Sports
  • Music activities 

Art and craft

These sessions help to promote residents' motoric skills

  • improving memory 
  • stimulating imagination
  • having a positive impact on stress relief and self-esteem

'Gardening creates the opportunity to connect with others'

Outdoor activities such as gardening can help to reduce feelings of isolation or exclusion, helping mobility and flexibility, reducing stress levels and providing stimulation and interest in nature and the outdoors.

Community

Greene has its own transport to access the wider community in order for to have more fulfilling life, so that the residents have a larger choice of opportunities of interests and hobbies.  At Greene we encourage friends and family to be part of what we do and aspire to achieve. 

Residents' meetings 

Greene provides food choice for resident and resident have monthly meetings to discuss about what is happening in the home and   any changes they would like  and see happen within their home.

Micholls House

Micholls House is all about individualised care and empowerment. Residents are encouraged to be involved in all decisions about their lives - what they choose to eat each day, what they wear, what activities they take part in, what trips they go on and whether they choose to use our on-site health services or their own.

Steps

Our supported living service is available to adults with epilepsy who may also have other associated or additional complications. The service provides people with the opportunity to live with greater autonomy and independence in the community.

Queen Elizabeth House

Our specialist nursing care for adults with epilepsy is provided in Queen Elizabeth House at our Chalfont Centre in Buckinghamshire. In addition to their epilepsy, residents often have associated and additional complications, including physical and learning disabilities, brain injury and autism.
